Once you have decided to have your property listed with a Matterport virtual walk-through option, Lee will book a time to bring the Matterport scanning equipment over to your property for sale. Prior to scanning we highly advise you to prepare your property just like you would for receiving buyers in person to view your house. For instance, remove pets and personal items you do not want to be recorded. Tidy to the best of your ability.
It can take a few hours to scan the house, depending on the square footage and the sets of stairs. So you might as well schedule an activity for yourself during this time away from your house. Multilevel houses with lots of rooms can take twice as long to scan than smaller open-plan one level houses.
Once the property is scanned Lee takes the data to his office for processing. On average, processing can take 2 to 3 hours to do.
