"Lee went up and beyond with helping to sell my house. Highly recommend him to anyone selling or buying!" - Stephanie Cameron
It was my pleasure to help Stephanie move forward in her new life, while also making room for the new owners to acquire their dream property on Kootenay Lake. Seasonal residents along the east shore of Kootenay Lake are fortunate to have property management available to help make it possible to look after their property and also help them rent it to vacationers when not in use and generate income. Even though the Kootenay Lake East Shore is now being discovered by tourists, the area still retains a sense of community and peacefulness.
Lake frontage for sale here is still rare and only a few are listed for sale each year. It seems apparent that few people want to leave once they have ownership of one of the limited number of waterfront properties. In addition, many properties are held by families or are jointly owned for many years, seldom being available on the open real estate market.
So, it is indeed fortunate for buyers when one becomes available. The best way to find lakefront property is to have me, Lee or your chosen realtor keep our eyes and ears open and let you know when we think a property may be coming onto the market. Acquiring legacy lake property is more about "the catch" than "the deal". The opportunity is sometimes lost for many years, while waiting for that “perfect” property or securing it at a low price. The experience of lake living shouldn't be postponed because one these rare offerings isn’t absolutely perfect. Time marches on – leaving the fence sitters behind empty-handed.
